O'tacky Stocking holders?!Parties?!

(see the Orn'aments on the mini tree?)

(Everso Clothing Stockings, O'tacky by Circles Are Forever holding them up!)
I [Christmas] decorated my room on Thanksgiving Day. This is a tradition I started last year. I guess it won't really be a tradition once I have to start cooking the Thanksgiving meals and have kids in the future but it is what it is right now (no pressure)...and I am loving it! Jon and I also had my 7 year old nephew snap some photogs of us as well.

ps- I will be attending two parties this Friday in Fullerton,Ca
1 is the Roadkill Private Shopping Party(invites only)
2 is the Creative Seed Craft Exhibit (all welcome)

both land on Friday and 7pm-10pm so I am going to party hop with my sister's and Jon.
Please swing by BellySprout.com for directions and get on their mailing list,it's fun news! Circles Are Forever will have a little display of a few items in the gallery...there will be cheese wine and crackers served for this fabulous event. There will be lots of moms, dads and friends there that night...why am I always such an oddball? GOTTA LOVE IT. I think it comes natural :P

Well, just look how gorgeous you are! Here (UK) the tradition is to decorate the tree on Christmas eve and leave it up for twelve days. It just seems to wrong to me, but it's what my partner is used to, so that's good enough for me. I always used to decorate on Thanksiving day in the states and then the day after Christmas it was all packed away.

Cute decorations! Great photos of you as well. I put up the tree Friday after Thanksgiving to avoid the whole shopping thing.

I love the tacks for the stockings! So cute! We have some grabby hands around here and our mantel isn't tall enough so I might need some of those!

I love the pictures! You are SO pretty!

You are just too cute! Love your mini tree! I've always had the tradition of decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving night, but now that I have my little man and I cook, I just managed to get the tree out of the basement and up. I saved the decorating for the next day!
