My copy cat envelope.

This is my way to recycle and save money on packaging.
I also do the mini jewelry boxes out of cereal/food packaging because it is so sturdy and will keep my paintings safe during the postal process.

That is so cool!

I use brown paper grocery bags when my stuff won't fit into an envelope...I take it apart in much the same way.

I've been doing the same to make gift boxes for friends' birthdays. I try to find the weirdest boxes in my possession to, of course, cause the most embarrassment possible.

Great minds! I eat cereal like a fiend and use it for my packaging too — it's perfect. Terrific post :)

Very cool little tutorial! I may have to use this one! Only problem is, I eat boring adult cereal. :(

I have done this with cereal (cracker, cookie, various snack) boxes too! I don't do quite so much work though, just flatten them and tape them up, hehe. The people at the post office love it when I bring one to ship!! :)
